I don’t come from one sector.
I come from all of them.
That’s what allows me to arrive without the blind spots of someone who comes from the same world as you. I don’t belong to any ecosystem. I have nothing to protect. I have no agenda.
And because I’ve worked across dozens of sectors – industry, tech, media, retail, finance, institutional – I get up to speed fast, without you having to explain your business to me for three sessions.
THE BACKGROUND
What 20 years build that frameworks can’t replace
Engineer by training – that’s what structures how I read a problem. Not through imposed method, but by design instinct. When I look at a decision, I look first for the underlying architecture, the hidden dependencies, the breaking points.
Like reading a line of code.
C-suite roles in CAC40 companies, strategic consulting, an MBA in the US, experience in London. Then 8 years of solo practice – exclusively with founders and executives, exclusively on the things that actually matter.
◼︎
INITIAL TRAINING
Engineer
The foundation of everything – learning to design, decompose, and find the hidden dependencies in a system.
◼︎
MBA – USA
Strategy & Business
An opening onto English-speaking markets and a different way of thinking about growth and risk.
◼︎
20 YEARS
Corporate – C-suite, CAC40
La Redoute, Orange, and others. Operational leadership roles in complex environments, with real stakes and irreversible decisions.
◼︎
SOLO SINCE 2018
Sparring Partner – LBK Consulting
Exclusively with founders and executives. Exclusively on what matters – the decision, before it’s made.
WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE IN PRACTICE
An engineer’s training.
Applied to human decisions.
An engineer looks at a system and finds where it’s going to break. That’s exactly what I do with the situations you bring me.
No mystical intuition, no “I can feel it.” A structured reading of what’s happening, what’s missing, and what you’re avoiding seeing – including the cognitive biases shaping your decisions without you knowing it.
And because I’ve worked across dozens of sectors without belonging to any of them, I make the connections your ecosystem doesn’t make. I ask the questions no one in your world asks – not to provoke, but because I don’t have the same blind spots.
Analysis in service of action, not in place of it. I don’t stop at the decision made – I stay present until the decision is executed. To make sure execution doesn’t drift from the original intent, that day-to-day trade-offs don’t betray what was settled. And because an executed decision always generates new decisions to make, the cycle starts again naturally.
◎
Structural reading
Identifying the hidden dependencies in a situation before looking for solutions.
◈
Multi-sector
No industry blind spots. I step into any context without the biases of the sector.
⌁
Breaking points
Finding where the system gives way – in a decision, a team, a strategy.
⏥
Analysis in service of action
Not in place of it. Thinking only has value if it translates into a concrete decision.
A PILLAR, NOT A PROMISE
Confidentiality.
The baseline condition for the work.
In an ecosystem as connected as the French founder and executive world, everyone knows everyone. That’s precisely why confidentiality isn’t a secondary benefit – it’s what makes the work possible.
I know a lot of people. I talk about no one. This isn’t a rule I impose on myself – it’s a conviction about what this work requires.
Several of my clients share things with me they haven’t shared with anyone else. That trust only exists because it has never been broken.
“I knew you wouldn’t say anything to anyone. That’s why I could tell you the truth.”
“I’m extremely private when it comes to trust. With you, I manage to talk about things I don’t say anywhere else.”
“You’re a vault.”
BEYOND SPARRING
What I do outside
of sparring
These activities aren’t separate from my work – they feed it. Staying in constant contact with what’s happening elsewhere is what allows me to bring you a perspective that doesn’t come exclusively from your sector.
